Jeff, Kara and the whole team at The Columbus Agents, Fathom Reality are top notch and they all made our first-time home buying experience amazing. Jeff connected us with so many other businesses to help us along the way, including David Arocho, SR VP at NFM Lending who was a superb lender who got us a very good interest rate right before they jumped sky high this year, and who also wrote a pre-approval letter calling us something to the effect of "Very Strong Buyers" that we believed helped us with the sellers taking our offer seriously. Kara put together a great list of houses to show us and spent a Friday evening and all Saturday taking us around Columbus to showings. Both Kara and Jeff were very knowledgeable of the different neighborhoods in Columbus, we wound up in Forest Park West, and LOVE IT!!! Kara's negotiation tactics on our offer worked great - we put in an offer Saturday afternoon and it was accepted that evening around 11pm. We literally looked at only 9 houses over 2 days and bought our dream home - that's just how good and efficient Kara and Jeff are - our story is basically unheard of because many people spend months looking. Jeff connected us to his basement repair man, Tim Secrest at Wallforce, to work with the sellers on a basement flooding issue, and we're two months in post-repair after heavy rains, and there's been no flooding - Wallforce did an excellent job. Everything leading up to the closing went super sufficient, and both The Columbus Agents and NFM Lending made the closing happen without any delay. When we took possession and noticed the Kitchen Island was missing, an item clearly mentioned in the purchase agreement, Seller's Agent's brochure, and realtor listing, Jeff got the sellers to send us a brand new replacement. The sellers also didn't finish painting the basement, the one repair they had to do post-flooding per purchase agreement, so Jeff had a contractor come out and got the sellers to pay for it. The basement looks great now! Jason also came out during our walkthrough and provided some much needed advice to first-time homeowners. And Deepa was fantastic coordinating documents and schedules. You certainly want Jeff, Kara and the whole team at The Columbus Agents on your side, especially if you're a first-time home buyer. My wife and I were super impressed with the services they provide and would certainly work with them again in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
